Millions of people lead a stress free life. Yet some people experience a high degree of stress in their lives. They think it is all cool and it looks like they are working hard. But it is not the case. It means that you are less efficient and it hampers their decision making abilities. It is also a silent killer as it may cause psychological and mental problems. There are some the techniques you can use to have a stress free life.
1) Listen to music or watch TV:-
Music is essential. It is a great stress buster and it soothes one’s mind. If you are watching TV try to watch comedy shows or watch Tom and Jerry. That is the best way to cool yourself down as it will burn out stress.
2) Make friends:-
Mingle with colleagues and have fun. Hear them out. Everyone has a story or two tell you. This will relieve of your stress.
3) Do not multitask:-
Multitasking does not help you in being efficient. They take more time to complete things then otherwise. As it is rightly said by Jason that multitasking is the fastest way to mediocrity.
4) Leave your work behind at office:-
Some people have the habit of bringing work home. Although you look busy, you are missing your time with your family and friends. You can do a lot of other creative things in that free time. You can engage in it along with your kids.
5) Plan and keep yourself organized:-
Set goals for the day or the week in advance. Plan your day and execute the plan. While planning you should keep in mind that you should be able to categorize the difference between urgency and emergency. Emergent ones should be attended to first.
6) Don’t get over burdened:-
Complete assignments which were assigned to you. Do not over burden yourself with a lot of work. Chances are that you will bring that work home.
