THE TRAIN MARKET

This market at a place called Samut Songkhram at Thailand is commonly called the Train Market because the market is all along a strip of a railway track, or is it the strip of a railway track in the middle of a market?

This is how it is. The vendors do business and customers push, pull, argue, bargain as you see in every market in the world.

This is what happens. When a train comes, everyone stops dead on their tracks, roll up their sunscreens, move their vegetable baskets and wait for the train to pass. No one gets hurt in this drama. After the train has passed the vendors rearrange their stalls and the market drama resumes as usual as if noting happened.

Here is a home video of this act. Watch it.

GRADUATION CEREMONY SEP 2009

Handwriting Institute India hosted the recent graduation ceremony held at Bangalore, India for its recently graduated students in the science of handwriting analysis and graphotherapy. 250 students graduated in that ceremony. Both my parents and I were one of the 250, none of us could make it to the ceremony. I had to contact few of my friends to know about the ceremony. The ceremony was a huge hit I was told. Well I collected my certificate later that week. The guest at the ceremony was none other than Bart Baggett. If you do not know who is he, let me tell you that he the President of Handwriting University International, USA. Cool guy, wrote few books, infact I read two of them. Nice reading material if you want to be a hanwriting expert. Here is a video I found on Youtube. Watch it.

PAST FEW MONTHS...PART 2

I took up a job at a company called Daily Bread now. Its been alomost 3 months now with this company. I wanted a day job, I got it. But I lost my freedom I had when I was working at Firstsource. Even though I had to do a night shift, I had two days off. Quite a lot of time to catch up on my sleep and do any other things I wanted to on the weekend. Here at Daily Bread, its been more than 20 days since I took an off. I feeling sick of it. Not because I had lot of time in my previous job, but I am a person who loves lot of free time and this job doent pay as much as my previous job paid. I have a key responsibility at the company.

I have a responsibility of billing the items bought from us by other outlets and retail stores. I also have a responsibility of looking catering to the customers. Well it frustrates me when customer turns me down, but it excites me and it is also a great relief to get a cake order. I had cakes from Daily Bread before joining the company and they were all awesome and they still are. As I told you in my previous post Daily Bread was acquired by Britannia.

It seems Cafe Coffee Day was our first customer. Then Barista, KFC and other retail outlets and distributors joined us. I am a regular customer of all the outlets I mentioned. I still am. I like promoting what I like. I like Daily Bread, its business and its products. However, I am beginning to think that I like the company, but I hate my job. Well I am doing everything I can to do something for myself on my own. I will do it. I think it is going to be exciting to look at this post of mine after I will have done it.

PAST FEW MONTHS...

Well...Long time since i posted on my blog. Lot has happened until I last posted. I quit my job at Firstsource as a Customer Service Associate. Then I prepared for my 1st year B.A. examinations I signed up with K.S.O.U. Did my exams quite well though. Got certified as a handwriting analyst. Now I can consider options in this field too. But I am most interested in food/service industry. So I learnt to make chocolates. I made some chocolates at home and had my cousin and my brother have it. They were quite impressed. I hope this continues.

Well guess what, I got through 1st year B.A. I paid my second year fee. My study materials are yet to come. I got a job in the billing and call center department at a company called Daily Bread. They are based in Bangalore and are around for more than 6 years now. They were aquired by Britannia may sometime early this year or something.

Well...both of them are making a lot of money. Well this job is not paying me well but I think I can manage to do this job for few more months. The last few months I had this habit of downloading movies and watching them, reading books, se friends. This is the reason why I kept out of blogging. Well
